Morning Pleasure

Imagine waking up on a Monday morning. Realizing that this is a day that you have to go to work. So you get out of your warm and cozy bed and stumble towards the bathroom. Wouldn't your day be instantly better if the bathroom you stumbled into looked like this?

Sunshield

The sun is starting to become a little brighter and my thoughts immediately turn to sunglasses. I am in need of some sunglasses, especially because I sat on my last pair. They did not take kindly to that.

Maybe one of these will last me a little longer.

A Weekend At The Beach

Have you ever experienced something that you always wanted to but never thought you would? Well, one of those things happened to me on Saturday. M. and I decided to go the beach for the weekend to unwind, relax and enjoy each other's company. The weather was gorgeous so there was even more incentive to go. We left at 8 AM and arrived three hours later. Dropped our bags at the house and off to the beach we went.

We arrived and were just settling down when we saw a mass of people walking towards the sea. Ofcourse we were immediately curious as to what was going on. We walked over and to our surprise we saw two big blue boxes just sitting there on the beach. We walked around and we saw this

Two seals. They were rescued when they were just cubs and now they were going to be released back into the wild. It was an amazing sight.

They were not all that happy about. Both of them decided the ocean was not for them and instead they went straight for the crowd. Short panic ensued(they've got some mean teeth!) but with a little help they found their way to the sea.

Seeing something so unexpected like this absolutely made my day. Ever since then I've been thinking about it and I feel blessed to have been a part of it, even if I was only watching.

• Fur Coat, No Knickers. Found this girl via Handpicked Media. Her posts are gorgeous, varied and interesting. Especially her post about Australian mugshots from the 1920's is worth a look.

• Plexiglass Clutch. I love the idea of a see through clutch, but what would you put in it? What could you put in it? Would you put in anything at all? Or fill it with things breeming with color?  This clutch has me fascinated and a little bit confused.

• Book Cover Design.  They say "Don't judge a book by it's cover". But I think these books must be pretty spectacular to deserve such an amazing cover. Wouldn't mind having these on my bookshelf!

A Blog Is Born

I am just going to come out and say it. Hello, my name is Hannah and I am a blog addict. Nice to meet you.

But honestly, how can I not be? There are so many wonderful blogs out there. Every single day, all over the world, blogs are being born. Just waiting to be devoured with hungry eyes. And today my blog was born. Happy days.

But a blog doesn't come out of thin air. An idea has to be planted. A seed of inspiration has to be sown. And for me, this seed of inspiration came from other bloggers.

So for my very first post, I would like to thank some fellow bloggers (so cool that I can say FELLOW bloggers now) for entertaining and inspiring me for all these years.

Joanne, every single post has been a joy. Sydney, thank you for making me laugh with your Awkward and Awesome Thursday. And Sofia, your Sunday Click List has kept me busy for many an hour.

So this is my way of thanking the people who have helped me get where I am today. Even if they don't know it.
